The Digital Literacy Project
The Mission
Information Literacy & Social Media Security
In today's digital landscape, information overload often collides with a distrust in traditional media, creating a breeding ground for misinformation. This "Wild West" online environment necessitates both digital literacy and robust online security.
To empower individuals and communities to navigate this complex terrain, we're launching a groundbreaking project. This initiative will equip participants with the essential tools to critically evaluate online content, identify bias, and navigate the complexities of the digital landscape.
But our focus goes beyond discernment – we'll also delve into best practices for securing social media accounts and your overall digital presence. By learning how to create strong passwords, enable two-factor authentication, and manage privacy settings, you'll not only become a discerning consumer of information, but a more secure citizen of the online world.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our groundbreaking project fighting misinformation and fostering digital literacy! If you're eager to empower yourself and others to navigate the complexities of the online world, we want to hear from you.
This is your chance to be part of the solution, helping individuals become discerning consumers of information and secure their digital presence.
